I wanted to officially thank all the wonderful people who helped the Fundy Fanciers Cat club in so many ways to put on our 3rd and 4th show in Halifax on July 18th & 19th, 2009.

First I must say that it amazes me how people will come together and help out when needed for our common interest, the love of all cats:

First and foremost to the person who sacrificed the most and put in the most time, I could not have done anything without her, our fantastic first time Entry Clerk, show & club treasurer & sponsor liaison.  Along with countless other tasks that she willingly volunteered to do at the last minute and throughout the whole year and years, my club co-founder Anne-Marie Brown.  I feel that working together we could conquer anything, you are the best!

Thank-you to Joanne McGown for her generous sending of the Entry Clerk & catalogue information to Anne-Marie.

Thank-you to Sherry Pellerin for her beautiful donation to the raffle.

Thank-you to Clarice d’Entremont for organizing our show staff and volunteers, helped with the clerking school and for making the wonderful cakes at the show, they were yummy and kept us all going!

To Eleanor MacDonald, our Regional Director and All-breed judge for hosting our clerking school and helping our clerks after judging all day.  Also for presenting our regional awards on Saturday.  We could not do it without your support.

Hinka Chapman, for organizing our vendors, helping with set up and your raffle donation.

Theo Mitchell for donating the wonderful exhibitor gifts which we all enjoyed, running the last minute raffle (you are the raffle queen) which was a huge success and your raffle donations. Organizing the gifts and helping me with those little things. For being our honorary Best Decorated Cage Judge! Thank-you for your support and your always, positive outlook.

Carmelita Jollimore our show secretary for her help with the show hall decorations and the exhibitor gifts she made along with judges gifts.  Your unending time spent on the phone and on MSN discussing “show things”.

John Smith our wonderful announcer who came from Quebec to help us out.  You are the best!  Thank-you for separating all the paper towel for the show at the last minute!

Margeret Gadouas who also came from Quebec to help, and manned the CCA-AFC booth and helped where ever we needed her. Thank-you for loving my kitten  and for doing the paper towel with John.

Patsy Osmond for picking up the rosettes & clinicide and helping as always where needed.

Thank-you to Sharon Strauch and Dianne Lucas for bringing the Regional awards and setting them up for me.

Richard Somers for helping with signs and Roger Savoy for helping at the last minute organize the lunch we had both days.  You are a life saver!

Thank-you to the CFA club, the Nova Scotia Cat Fanciers for renting us their cages and helping with set up, thank-you Angie Abbott, Brenda Nicholson & Marjorie and Peter Hilchie for all your help.

Thank-you to our absolutely wonderful, show volunteers, clerks and stewards, Rhonda Thompson, Jalisa Cleveland, Meghan Maclean, Peter Vaughan, David Jackson, Julian & Sebastian Brown, Austin and Kara Marzetti from the Compu College.  Thank-you Shannon Maclean for finding many of these wonderful people at that last minute.

And to my personal volunteers, my friends Tim Wellwood, Joanie Nickerson and Terry Rushton my boyfriend who helped with admission, hospitality and set-up and tear down.  We four were the first to arrive and the last to leave all weekend and they never complained!  Thank-you!

Thank-you to Beth Stacey for being our wonderful Master Clerk and sacrificing her weekend as a tourist in Halifax.

Thank-you to Dre Louise Laliberte for her help with the HHP press announcement and calling to see how things went.

Thank-you to our wonderful judges from Maine, Nova Scotia, B.C. and Ontario.  The exhibitors enjoyed you all greatly.  Stan and Patricia Buchannan from the CFF, James Mendenhall from the ACFA, Eleanor MacDonald, Terry Ferrell, Felicity Hawthorn, Hailey Boam and Kathy Balmer from the CCA.

Thank-you to our sponsors who without their support no cat show would be possible: Royal Canin and Melissa Couch, The litter Queen and Clara Fassett, Pizza Delight and Sonya Poirier (who also exhibited and helped tear down). Nutrience and Compu College.

Thank-you to BlueSky Photography and all the other vendors who traveled so far to attend.  Lynn I cannot wait to see those fabulous photos you took!

If I have forgotten anyone, please forgive me, I am still thinking of you!

Thank-you to all the Exhibitors who entered their cats, as you are who it is all for.

Finally congratulations to all those who won a CCA-AFC Regional award for 2008-2009 in Region 3.  It is a personal achievement for me since I won the only regional award presented several years ago to presenting 50 regional awards this year.  Since then we have also taken home collectively 5 National awards with many more on the horizon I hope!

Congratulations to the shows many beautiful winners and the Best of the Best winners for 2009! Watch for the 2010 show date to be posted at a later date.
