KITTEN RESULTS:

3 Maritime kittens shown:
1) BluBears Petite Fiona of Le Pors, bred by Richard Somers is a Blue British Shorthair, female, kitten owned by Anne-Marie Brown of Le Pors Cattery. She made 3 finals: 3rd, 5th and 6th best kitten.
This entitled her to 3rd BEST of the BEST kitten in show on
Saturday. There was a very nice, British Shorthair kitten class and to get Best of breed was an accomplishment.
2) Milbury Cadeo, Black Smoke, Exotic Shorthair bred by Ellie Smith of Milbury cattery and owned by Karen Bemister of Michigan made 6 finals a 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 7th, 8th and a 10th and again a lovely, large Exotic kitten class so Best of Breed was an accomplishment.
3) Milbury Bridge-Mixture, Blue-cream, female, Exotic Longhair bred and owned by Ellie Smith made 2 finals a 9th and 7th, which I was very happy about due to the large numbers of fantastic Persian & Himalayan kittens being shown and presented to the judge in her group.
PREMIER RESULTS: 2 Maritime alters shown.
1)PR Milbury Tessie Toblerone a Torti, Exotic Shorthair, owned by Cathy Denny finalled in 11 out of 12 rings and finaled as high as 2nd best Premier in show. Mind you the other finalists were all grands and some were past National winners! She was a BEST of the BEST winner all three days with a 2nd, 3rd & a 5th I believe.
2)PR Milbury Charles Patton a Blue & white, Exotic Shorthair, owned by Cathy Denny and Ellie Smith finaled in 10 out of 12 rings, not sure on his placements but he was as high as 3rd (sorry Charles). He did get a BEST of the BEST win of 5th on Friday with his sister!
Two of the same breed in the Best of the Best is always special.

1)DK Catwalks Special Edition "Buller" of BluBears Cattery, a blue, British Shorthair, male owned by Richard Somers finaled in EIGHT rings.
One 1st, Two 2nds, One 3rd, Two 4ths, One 7th, One 9th
He also got 3 Best Champion and 3 Second best Champion rosettes towards his grand points and was
Best of the Best (1st) on Saturday.

This was again a fantastic show & a fantastic time had by all. We all traveled and stayed together to share expenses. Thank-you to Pierre for your kind hospitality.
